Inria 的 Antoine Delignat-Lavaud 发现 NSS （Mozilla Network 安全服务库）解析签名中使用的 ASN.1 数据的方式有问题，导致其容易遭受签名伪造攻击。攻击者可以构建 ASN.1 数据来伪造包含指向受信任 CA 的有效证书链的 RSA 证书。
此更新为 NSS 库修复了此问题。
请注意，iceweasel 也受到 CVE-2014-1568 的影响，但在 Squeeze(-LTS) 中已达到其使用期限，因此没有修复。
