Synopsis
The remote Red Hat host is missing one or more security updates for libxml2.Description
The remote Redhat Enterprise Linux 5 / 6 host has packages installed that are affected by multiple vulnerabilities as referenced in the RHSA-2012:1288 advisory.- libxml: An off-by-one out-of-bounds write by XPointer part evaluation (CVE-2011-3102)
- libxml2 (64-bit): Multiple integer overflows, leading to DoS or possibly other unspecified impact (CVE-2012-2807)
Note that Nessus has not tested for these issues but has instead relied only on the application's self-reported version number.
