Synopsis

The remote Red Hat 7 host is affected by multiple vulnerabilities that will not be patched.

Description

The remote Redhat Enterprise Linux 7 host has one or more packages installed that are affected by multiple vulnerabilities that have been acknowledged by the vendor but will not be patched.

 - ovirt-engine: webadmin log out must logout all sessions (CVE-2016-6338)

 - ovirt-engine: API exposes power management credentials to administrators (CVE-2018-1074)

 - Cross-site scripting (XSS) vulnerability in ovirt-engine allows remote attackers to inject arbitrary web script or HTML. (CVE-2016-3113)

 - The ovirt-engine-provisiondb utility in Red Hat Enterprise Virtualization (RHEV) Engine 4.0 allows local users to obtain sensitive database provisioning information by reading log files. (CVE-2016-5432)

 - ovirt-engine before version 4.1.7.6 with log level set to DEBUG includes passwords in the log file without masking. Only administrators can change the log level and only administrators can access the logs. This presents a risk when debug-level logs are shared with vendors or other parties to troubleshoot issues.

Note that Nessus has not tested for these issues but has instead relied on the package manager's report that the package is installed.
