Synopsis

The remote Red Hat host is missing a security update for kernel-rt.

Description

The remote Redhat Enterprise Linux 6 host has packages installed that are affected by a vulnerability as referenced in the RHSA-2019:3165 advisory.

 - hardware: bluetooth: BR/EDR encryption key negotiation attacks (KNOB) (CVE-2019-9506)

Note that Nessus has not tested for this issue but has instead relied only on the application's self-reported version number.

Solution

Update the RHEL kernel-rt package based on the guidance in RHSA-2019:3165.
